At CleanFeeling, we believe that presentation, quality, and corporate responsibility go hand in hand. That is why we look not only at the look and feel of a product, but also at the materials used, their origin, and the way it is produced.

For a significant portion of our high-quality table settings, we collaborate with MANK GmbH, a specialized production company in Germany. MANK produces according to strict German and European quality and environmental standards and holds various renowned certifications and labels, including FSC®, PEFC™, the EU Ecolabel, OK Compost, the Seedling label, and ISO 9001. Additionally, social and sustainable business standards are regularly audited by Sedex.

For printing, MANK exclusively uses solvent-free, water-based inks. From the responsible sourcing of raw materials to the printing and manufacturing of the final product: sustainability and quality are integrated into every phase of the production process. In this way, we offer our customers stylish table products where presentation, quality, and sustainability come together in a responsible manner.

Responsible Raw Materials

In the development of our table products, renewable and carefully selected raw materials are chosen wherever possible. A significant portion of the wood and paper fibers used comes from FSC® or PEFC certified sources.

This makes a demonstrable contribution to responsible forest management and a controlled origin of wood and paper products.

Compostable Airlaid Products

Many Airlaid products within the range hold an OK Compost certification. Certified products meet requirements for compostability, including the European standard EN 13432.

This allows us to offer luxury table products with the look and the pleasant feel that Airlaid is known for, while at the same time conscious thought has been given to material and processing.

Tissue with EU Ecolabel

More sustainable choices are also available within the range of Tissue napkins. A large portion of these products is entitled to carry the EU Ecolabel.

This official European environmental label looks at the environmental impact during various phases of the life cycle and sets requirements for raw materials, harmful substances, waste management, and energy use, among other things.

Bio-Spanlin® & Spanlin® Soft

Bio-Spanlin® and Spanlin® Soft combine a luxurious, soft appearance with a conscious choice of materials. The napkins are made from biodegradable materials and meet the requirements of EN 13432 for compostability.

Spanlin® Soft also holds the OK Compost HOME certification. This means that the material can be biodegraded under normal home composting conditions, without leaving harmful residues behind.

The material feels velvety soft, is strong and flexible, and has an elegant fiber structure. Additionally, versions are available that meet the requirements for FSC® certified products.

FROM RAW MATERIAL TO TABLE

Sustainability Throughout the Entire Production Chain

Responsible production goes further than just the choice of paper or cellulose. Steps are also taken during the production process to use raw materials, water, energy, and waste streams more consciously.

Renewable Materials

Product development is increasingly focusing on materials from renewable raw materials and controlled wood and paper sources.

Water-Based Inks

Water-based inks that are free of solvents are used for printing. The process water used is also carefully treated.

Waste Streams Reused

Production residues are reprocessed where possible or used as raw material for new applications, so that materials remain part of the cycle for longer.

Energy-Efficient Production

Modern production techniques, energy-efficient machinery, and the use of renewable energy contribute to more future-oriented production.
